Description

DEPATISnet is a worldwide patent search service provided free of charge on the internet by the German Patent and Trade Mark Office. You can conduct online searches in all patent publications stored in DEPATIS, the DPMA's in-house patent information system, using different search modes (beginners mode, expert mode, etc.). Selecting retrieved documents from the result list displayed opens a view showing the bibliographic data (title, applicant, inventor, etc.) for that document. The original document can also be displayed in PDF format. You can scroll backwards and forwards in the displayed document or jump directly to any related sub-documents, e.g. claims, drawing, description, etc. DPMAregister includes the official register for all German IP rights. This service allows you to search for current legal and procedural status information on all IP rights taking effect in Germany, including European patents in the national DE phase. DPMAregister also includes the official publications required by law, i.e. data from the patent gazette (Patentblatt), trade mark journal (Markenblatt) and designs gazette (Geschmacksmusterblatt), as well as patent documents.
