The seminar is a 4-day intense build up on basic patent information knowledge including a half-day with the emphasis on searching under the guidance of an EPO patent examiner. The first part concentrates on the patent system and gives insight into the benefit of patent information as well as the various granting procedures and patent information products, including the important and interesting world of patent information from the Far East. Participants will also have PCs in order to allow for real hands-on experience and exercises with our patent information services. During the seminar the participants will have many opportunities to speak to trainers and experts on various areas of patent information.
Each participant will receive a seminar folder which will include the presentations in paper form.
Seminar participants are required to pay the seminar fees prior to the course, via banc transfer, credit card or deposit account. The registration for a seminar will become valid as soon as the payment of the participation fee has arrived at the EPO. You will be notified of this via e-mail.
