This training has been designed to enable you to successfully use IPscore as a consultant to SMEs. The knowledge you will learn in this course includes both how to use IPscore, and how patent valuation is performed, in general.
Intermediate
Classroom training
During the lectures, demonstrations and exercises you will learn what the value of patents is, how it can be evaluated and documented with IPscore, and how this can be used for systematic portfolio management and other important tasks. Both the qualitative approach used in IP management and the monetary approach used in finance is discussed and trained in realistic exercises. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to understand the different approaches of patent valuation. They will have the necessary basic knowledge and abilities to guide qualitative (strategic) and monetary patent valuation in SMEs with IPscore and to advise in this matter.
The seminar programme will provide you with a detailed outline of the seminar.
The training does not require you to have prior knowledge of patent valuation or IPscore. The only prerequisite for successfully participating in this training is that you have basic knowledge about patents and of the way companies do business.
